Paradox: Society

Before I start I'd like to dedicate this to a couple people.
First, Shannon "Sunshine" Saulsbury
Second Chebrai Jepsen
Third to Yeonji Lee of course!
And Finally anyone who at times feels like a loner.

A paradox, something contradictory or seemingly impossible.

Hey, don't write yourself off yet. Its only in your head you feel left out, or looked down on.
Just try your best, try everything you can. And don't you worry what they tell themselves, when your away. (The Middle ~ Jimmy Eat World)

So society. You know, that thing we all exist in with all those popularity chains, gossip, and rumors. Yeah that thing that requires you to conform to it if you want to be cool. Well we'll start at the top. Preps, as they're called. Stereotypically smart, pretty/ good-looking, stuck-up, rich, two-faced, controlled, spoiled and athletic. So those are those at the top of the chain. Conform to that guys, become a selfish jerk who uses people around you. You want popularity, thats what society wants. Now in no way am I saying that ALL those things are bad, but it seems like they have everything. And naturally people stay within their groups, their cliques lets say. So your someone who's got it all.... even two-faced selfish friends? Yeah, no thanks! I mean seriously, be yourself. THATS what gets you true friends who stand by your side, not your status. And to those who get ripped on by preps constantly, who cares. Its usually only one lifeless jerk, the others follow. A.... pack mentality if you will. When one attacks, they follow. Ignore them, when they all fall down from the top of the pyramid who will they have to catch them? No one!!! All of their "friends" will be to busy securing their new ranks in society. Which leads me to the next one jocks..... which I shall continue another time due to the fact that this one could go on for awhile. So stay tuned for the... about 2 more parts and conclusion!
